Breast Reconstruction: Immediate Permanent Silicone Gel Breast Implant with Alloderm and Fat Grafting

This patient is a 44 year old woman who presented for reconstruction at the time of planned removal of both breasts. Many options were discussed with the goal to pursue immediate reconstruction using silicone gel implants with Alloderm. Tissue expanders were available if needed. She underwent immediate permanent implant placement with alloderm at the time of mastectomy. She elected to undergo a refinement procedure using fat grafting (taken from her waist) to improve the contour of her upper breast areas. She has done well following her procedures.
